FIFA head: 'Football can be an instrument for bringing people together'

To mark International Women's Day, FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura gave an interview to FRANCE 24 at the headquarters of world football's governing body in Zurich. She looked back at her appointment as FIFA’s first ever female leader, "a very exciting moment in the world of football". Fatma Samoura also emphasised that "football transcends not only religious barriers, but also social barriers and linguistic barriers".
