Gunman And 3 Hostages Found Dead After Standoff At California Veterans Home

Description

According to a report by CNN, a gunman along with three female hostages were found dead at a military veterans home in Northern California on Friday night, following a nearly eight hour standoff. Chris Childs with the California Highway Patrol said that shortly before 6pm, officers stormed into the room where the gunman had held hostages. Childs said that they found the gunman and the three hostages dead. The victims have been identified as 48 year-old Christine Loeber, 42 year-old Jennifer Golick, and 29 year old Jennifer Gonzales. Childs said, "This is a tragic piece of news, one that we were really hoping we wouldn't have to come before the public to give."
