    Russell Crowe recently had an auction called “The Art of Divorce.” This came after his own divorce with Danielle Spencer in 2017. In the auction he sold 227 items, including life-size prop horses, wardrobe from “Gladiator…...a trove of guitars, neo-nazi boots from his movie “Romper Somper” and much more. In the five-hour auction he raised more than $3.7 million for A.C.M.F. charity.

  • Stallone's Film Props Could Fetch Millions at Auction

    LONDON Action star Sylvester Stallone is putting up for sale props from his "Rocky" and "Rambo" movies in an auction organizers say could fetch up to $6 million. The memorabilia will be auctioned in Los Angeles in December but a selection was shown to media in London on Tuesday. "I'm not sure where the estimates are going to end up at, but probably somewhere between 4 to 6 million dollars," Heritage Auctions consignment director Mike Gutierrez said when asked how much the auction could fetch.

    According to Business Insider, Christie's Auction House in New York City sold $69.2 million worth of precious jewels in a single night. The auction was held earlier this month on December 5. Last year at an auction around the same time in December, Christie's sold $62.5 million of jewelry, and $51.2 million before that in 2016. Daphne Lingon, Head of Jewelry, Christie's Americas said of this year's success, "The excitement and prices achieved in our New York sale marks a perfect ending to our successful year of global jewelry auctions."
