Rian Johnson Discusses New ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy

'The Last Jedi' writer and director Rian Johnson recently divulged some information on the upcoming new trilogy of 'Star Wars' films he will create for Disney. Johnson said, "It's kind of thinking, 'Okay, outside of the Skywalker story and outside of the recognizable iconography, what is this? What is Star Wars?'" He then added, "They're all the big questions that need to be thought of.
