Migrant Caravan Puts Mexico In Tough Spot With Trump

Description

Some Mexican towns are hosting a “caravan” of more than 1,200 Central American migrants. The migrants were headed to the U.S. border with advocacy group Pueblo Sin Fronteras. The caravan’s 2,000-mile journey began at some point this spring near the Guatemalan border. Some members of the caravan will try to seek asylum. Others will attempt to sneak into the United States illegally. Mexico is facing pressure from President Trump to stop the caravan. Trump railed on Twitter against the caravan on Monday.
