Trump is 'Obsessed' With Taking Down Amazon

Description

According to a report from Axios, Donald Trump is "obsessed" with eyeing legal means to take down Amazon. The report adds Trump believes Amazon is harming smaller companies and wants to halt its dominance on online shopping. The president has also recently tweeted that the e-commerce giant is unfairly reaping the benefits of a deal with USPS, something that Axios reported Wednesday is still very much on Trump's mind. When asked last year by Business Insider about the Trump administration's thoughts on Amazon possibly becoming too large, a White House official said the internet tech industry was "one of the crown jewels in the American economy."

And now, Amazon wants absolutely nothing to do with its members--or its merchandise. CNN reports Amazon is banning QAnon merchandise from its marketplace, and is in the process of removing QAnon products. The company said it may take a few days to rid itself entirely of QAnon T-shirts, flags, bumper stickers, and the like.
