Facebook Makes Changes To Increase Transparency And Accountability

Facebook is changing how it manages its Pages and ads on its sites. All of these changes also apply to Instagram. The social network now requires Pages with many followers to be authorized. They will also require the same of political ads on its site. The company is making these changes in order to be more transparent and accountable. Alex Himel and Rob Goldman said: "By increasing transparency around ads and Pages on Facebook, we can increase accountability for advertisers.”
