Xichang Space Base (China), 15 June, EFE, (Camera: Javier García).- The last satellite of China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) is set to be launched on Tuesday at 10.11 am, Ran Chengqi, director of the China Satellite Navigation Office, told EFE on Monday. The BDS has long been promoted as the Chinese alternative to the United States-owned Global Positioning System (GPS). After being launched from the Xichang Space Launch Center in southern China, the satellite would be in its orbit in approximately 45 minutes, when it would be possible to confirm if the mission has been a success. The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid features an innovative new intelligent satellite navigation system. When a destination is programmed into the navigation system, the Bentayga Hybrid calculates the best combination of electric drive and V6 engine to maximise efficiency over the journey. The car automatically engages the correct drive mode for each part of the journey, constantly calculating the best use of battery charge while storing electrical energy for sections of the journey where it is most useful – such as when arriving in the city, where an electric-only range of 31 miles (50 km) in the NEDC cycle can be utilised. The system will reduce on-board charge to zero just as the vehicle reaches its destination, maximising overall efficiency. A full charge of the battery from a domestic household socket will take 7.5 hours, and customers with an industrial connection installed at home can reduce the charge time to just 2.5 hours.

Mercedes-Benz rolled out its new A-Class to the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and showed off its new Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX, smart multimedia system. The MBUX combines a futuristic display, Optical Finger Navigation, and voice controls with a high-level computing package, including 8GB of RAM, two different Nvidia graphics cards, and an AI recommendation system.
