Taliban Using Captured US-Made Vehicles In Series Of Attacks

Description

On Thursday, the Taliban used captured US-made vehicles, in an attack on an Afghan military base in Kandahar that killed at least forty-three of the sixty soldiers stationed at the base. According to an Afghan army official, nine others were wounded and six remain missing after the midnight attack which began when a US-made Humvee loaded with explosives was detonated at the base's gate.
