Kevin Smith Says He Will Donate His Future Weinstein Residuals

SF Gate reports that actor and film maker Kevin Smith has announced plans to donate all future residuals from his Miramax and The Weinstein Company-produced films to the Women in Film, organization. After multiple allegations of sexual assault and even rape continue to surface against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, Smith wants to do whatever he can to disassociated himself from the brand and the man. During a recent episode of his podcast Hollywood Babble-On Smith said “my entire career is tied up with the man, It’s been a weird f–ing week. I just wanted to make some f–ing movies, that’s it."
