Santa Barbara Film Festival to Honor Gary Oldman

According to organizers Wednesday, actor Gary Oldman will receive the Maltin Modern Master Award at the 2018 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Oldman, who has been acting professionally since 1979, is an Oscar favorite this year for his performance as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the movie “Darkest Hour." Past winners of the Maltin Modern Master Award include Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton and Christopher Plummer.
