New York Is Investing $50 Million To Protect Against Vehicular Terror Attacks

Description

New York City officials announced a plan on tuesday that will install 1,500 barriers to protect pedestrians from vehicle attacks in high profile areas. Ydanis Rodriguez who introduced the legislation said the barriers will make New York an “even safer, more walkable city.” The city recently conducted a review on how to secure streets and public spaces in light of recent vehicular terror attacks.
