Former Uber CEO to Testify in Waymo Trial

On Tuesday, the founder and former CEO of Uber, Travis Kalanick, is scheduled to testify in ride-sharing app's ongoing trial with Waymo. Kalanick is said to be a key witness for Waymo, who claims that Uber "cheated" in order to get ahead in the game of self-driving cars. Sources say questioning will focus on whether or not Kalanick worked with former Waymo engineer Anthony Levandowski to take key information from the company before leaving. The case will determine whether or not Uber is guilty of stealing intellectual property from Waymo, who is seeking damages, as well as a permanent injunction in blocking Uber from using the tech.
