Turkey Denies Reports Of Border Guards Shooting At Syrian Refuge Seekers

Description

According to Human Rights Watch, Turkish guards at the border of Syria are indiscriminately shooting at and returning asylum seekers attempting to cross over into Turkey. On Saturday, a senior Turkish govermnment official denied the report, reiterating that Turkey had taken in 3.5 million was refugees since the beginning of the Syrian conflict in 2011.
