Authorities Arrest Man for Shooting at Migrants in Italy

In what police say was a racially motivated attack, an Italian man has been arrested after opening fire on African migrants in the central city of Macerata on Saturday, injuring six people. Authorities say the suspected shooter, 28-year-old Luca Traini, had an Italian flag draped over his shoulders when he was seized in the street by armed police. According to police, Traini drove around Macerata, famed for its outdoor opera festivals, in a black Alfa Romeo car firing out of his window in various locations.The shooting happened just days after a Nigerian migrant was arrested in connection with the death of an 18-year-old Italian woman.
