Citing Boredom With "Cliché," Trump Refuses To Visit DMZ

Description

President Donald Trump will not visit the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea. That's according to a senior administration official, who made the announcement during a briefing from the White House podium. In doing so, the President is bypassing what has been a symbolic opportunity for US commanders in chief to stare into the pariah state, which has made an increasingly urgent series of weapons tests lately. According to CNN, the official said. "The President is not going to visit the DMZ," explaining that "there is not enough time in the schedule" and that visiting the DMZ has become "a little bit of a cliché."
