Mexico Celebrates Day Of The Dead

Description

Day of the Dead started on October 31 this year and it ends two days later. For the holiday, families all across Mexico gather in public squares and cemeteries to honor their deceased loved ones in traditional makeup and costume. Some costumes include flower crowns, glitter and jewels. The holiday dates back 3,000 years and it's tradition to light candles and bring bouquets to the graves of friends and family. November 1 is the Day of the Innocents to honor deceased infants and children.
