Black Panther Roars Past The Last Jedi At U.S. Box Office

Description

Marvel’s Black Panther has now passed Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the domestic box office. The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, starring Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther. It's a box office milestone that seemed unachievable just a few months ago. But Black Panther has proven time and again that it’s a movie that will continue to be remembered and talked about for a long time to come. Ever since Black Panther broke Deadpool‘s February opening record last month, the film has been on a hot streak. It's broken all sorts of critical and commercial records. So far, it’s tied for Rotten Tomatoes’ highest-rated superhero movie ever. It's the highest-grossing solo superhero movie at the U.S. box office.
