The car was launched in its natural habitat – the driveway of a family home in Stockholm – highlighting Volvo Cars' pedigree in family estates and pinpointing how the V60's versatile design caters to the diverse needs and realities of modern family life. The new V60 shares Volvo Cars' Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform with the award-winning new XC60 and three top-of-the-line 90 series cars, which have been the collective force behind the company's record-breaking global sales performance in recent years. The SPA-based V60 introduces a new standard to the mid-size premium estate segment with a luxurious interior, increased levels of space, advanced connectivity, and Volvo Cars' latest driver-support systems and other safety technology.

This animation explains the function of different driving assistants in the Audi Q8. This includes the remote park assist plus, which allows for convenient parking even in tight parking spaces and the adaptive cruise control which maintains a preset distance from the traffic ahead.
The assist package Drive includes a new high-end system, the adaptive cruise assist, which is available in combination with MMI navigation plus, the Audi virtual cockpit, and S tronic.
The adaptive cruise assist (ACA) assists the driver with acceleration and braking, maintaining speed and following distance, and with lane tracking over a speed range from 0 to 250 km/h (0 – 155.3 mph) as well as during traffic jam situations. This enhances comfort, particularly on long journeys. The system combines adaptive cruise control and Audi active lane assist.
