Two Injured By Los Angeles Gasoline Tanker Blast

What turned out to be a leaking gasoline tanker has exploded in south Los Angeles, leaving two injured. According to Reuters, At least one manhole cover was sent flying into the air due to the blast, which resulted in flames shooting out of a storm drain. The effects of the blast threatened nearby buildings, but firefighters arrived at the scene quickly. According to firefighter Nicholas Prange , what was initially thought to be a natural gas explosion ended up being a 9,000-gallon gasoline tanker that was leaking." There were no fatalities, but the fire did damage a single family home.
