Krispy Kreme Wants To Help You Celebrate St. Patrick's Day!


Business Insider reports that Krispy Kreme is celebrating St. Patrick's day offering their customers a little green. The international doughnut chain is bringing back its popular green doughnuts for a limited run. The O'riginal Glazed Doughnut is a variation on the chain's classic glazed doughnut that uses specially formulated green dough. The green delicacy will be available from Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17 this year.

    Friday, June 1st, Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away free doughnuts for National Donut Day. According to Business Insider, “National Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday of June every year. The first National Day was held in 1938, as a tribute to The Salvation Army’s “Doughnut Lassies,’ who helped support troops during World War I.” Two volunteers named Ensign Margaret Sheldon and Adjutant Helen Purviance fried donuts in soldiers’ helmets, because of the limited rations on site.
