Ford CEO Jim Hackett Took Home $17.75 Million In 2018

According to a report by Automotive News, on Friday, Ford Motor Co announced that CEO Jim Hackett took in 17.75 million dollars in total compensation during his first full year as the leader of the company. Hackett's compensation, disclosed in a regulatory filing, reportedly included a modest base salary of $1.8 million, in addition to stock awards of $12.7 million and $2.6 million in various bonuses and incentives. Automotive news reports that Ford's CFO, Bob Shanks, was the only other executive to receive an increase in 2018, earning $8.42 million, up from $6.7 million in 2017.
