Tesla Unveils Long Range Model Y

Automotive News reports that Tesla unveiled its Model Y on Thursday to an eagerly awaiting public. The new all-electric crossover will take on competition from European automakers eager to unveil their own electric crossovers. CEO Elon Musk said the battery-powered car, will be built on the same platform as the Model 3 and will share 75% of its parts with the Model 3. The new EV SUV will debut in a long-range version with a range of 300 miles priced at $47,000.
