Ghosn Out On Bail

Description

According to Business Insider, Former Nissan Chairman and Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn is out on bail. Ghosn paid one of the largest bail fees in the history of Japan 1 billion yen ($8.9 million) after being held for 108 days. After his release, Ghosn suggested he had been through a "terrible ordeal." His bail request came after two previously failed attempts to leave jail. Ghosn was kept in solitary confinement and denied access to the outside world. Prosecutors say Ghosn reported only half of his massive salary to the government.
