Star Wars Fan Spots Tribute To First Film In 'Attack of the Clones'

Comicbook.com reports a Star Wars fan has spotted newer, more subtle references in the prequel trilogy to the original films. 'Attack of the Clones' gives a brief nod to the Battle of Yavin in 'A New Hope.' Cliegg Lars tells Anakin Skywalker what happened to his mother Shmi, saying 30 people went to look for her, and that 4 returned. When the Rebel ships approach the Death Star at Yavin, an Imperial tells Darth Vader he counts 30 Rebel ships.
