Actor and stand-up comedian Dustin Diamond has been hospitalized with cancer. Diamond is best known for playing the role of Samuel 'Screech' Powers on the popular 1990s high school comedy 'Saved by the Bell.' Besides writing a controversial tell-all about his time on the show, Diamond has also faced some legal troubles. According to CNN, he served three months in jail for stabbing a man during a 2014 altercation at a bar in Wisconsin. Diamond's representative says his client's health condition is 'serious,' and that he is undergoing testing to determine the type and severity of the cancer.
Lori Loughlin is out of prison. The actress was released from federal prison after serving a two-month sentence for her role in a college admissions scam. Loughlin pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in May. She admitted to paying the scheme's mastermind $500,000 to get her daughters into the USC under false pretenses. Loughlin began serving her sentence on October 30 at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California. Loughlin is best known for her role as Aunt Becky in the popular TV series "Full House".
TMZ reports that Lori Loughlin has been released from prison. Loughlin was released from Dublin Federal Correctional Institute early Monday morning. She spent nearly two months in the facility. She was two days shy of the length of her original sentence when she was released. Loughlin took a plea in the college bribery scandal of 2019. In August, Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison, a $150,000 fine, two years of supervised release, and 100 hours of community service.

Giannulli, the husband of actress Lori Loughlin, will serve his time at the Federal Correctional Complex Lompoc. Giannulli and Loughlin were convicted for their involvement in a college admissions scandal. The couple admitted to paying the scam's mastermind, "Rick" Singer, $500,000 to get their daughters into college. According to CNN, Singer pled guilty to charges and is cooperating with the federal investigation. Loughlin began her two-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, in October.
