Animal rights activists protest against bullfighting and bull-running during a demonstration called by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Anima Naturalis pro-animal groups on the eve of the San Fermin festivities in the Northern Spanish city of Pamplona.
PETA activists stripped down in freezing temperatures opposite Berlin’s Kaufhaus Jandorf for the opening of Berlin Fashion Week on Tuesday, baring their skin to shed light on the fashion world’s ties to animal cruelty. The protesters were wearing nothing but animal masks and underwear despite the frosty surroudings and held signs decrying the leather and fur industry. They also laid on the ground in front of cardboard gravestones, feigning death in a bid to highlight the plight of animals. Other demonstrators were seen handing out flyers supporting the PETA cause.
