White House Correspondents' Dinner Features Historian Instead Of Comedian

President Donald Trump did not attend the annual White House Correspondents Dinner once again. According to Business Insider, Trump has not attended the dinner for three years now. Additionally the White House reportedly banned administration officials from attending. Normally, the dinner features a comedian but this year historian Ron Chernow was the featured speaker. A White House correspondent said the night was meant to be “more serious” and “focused on journalism.”
