More Venezuelans Flee To Brazil After Guaido Calls For Ousting

Reuters reports nearly three times the average daily number of Venezuelans fled to Brazil on Tuesday, after Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido called for the ousting of President Nicolas Maduro. Brazilian government data released on Wednesday said around 850 Venezuelans made their way to Brazil Tuesday by foot. Previous days saw around 250 and 300. On Tuesday, Guaido publicly called for the military to support him as he tries to force Maduro from power.
