SEC: Elon Musk Must Meet With Lawyer Before Tweeting About Tesla

Description

The SEC and Tesla CEO Elon Musk have come to a settlement agreement over Musk's use of social media. According to Business Insider, the settlement was announced on Friday. From now on, all of Musk's public communications about Tesla's business must be pre-approved by a securities lawyer. Such communications include all social media, the company's website, press releases, and investor calls.
