Director and Producer John Singleton Dies At The Age Of 51

According to a report by Broadcasting & Cable, on Monday, Oscar nominated filmmaker John Singleton, died at the age of 5. Singleton is known for movies like Poetic Justice, Rosewood, and Shaft, and was nominated for a best director Oscar for his debut film Boyz N the Hood.     According to a report by CNN Style, I.M. Pei, considered by many to be one of the last great modernist architects, has died at the age of 102. While most of his work was done in the United States, Pei is perhaps most famous for his redevelopment of the Louvre Museum in Paris in the late 1980s. Pei reportedly designed the glass and metal pyramid in the main courtyard, along with three smaller pyramids and a vast subterranean addition to the museum entrance. Architecture critic Paul Goldberger wrote of Pei's work, "The pyramid does not so much alter the Louvre as hover gently beside it, coexisting as if it came from another dimension."
