Spotify Is Working On A "Social Listening" Feature

Digital Trends reports Spotify is testing a new feature that lets friends listen to music together in real time. The Social Listening feature lets users co-create music queues . App researcher Jane Manchung Wong said Social Listening is a more advanced version of Spotify’s existing Collaborative Playlists. The feature utilizes scannable QR-like codes. It's currently only available to Spotify employees.
