Thousands rallied in Philadelphia on Sunday in support of Senator Bernie Sanders just one day ahead of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) that is due to take place in the same city. Bernie supporters rallied for their candidate despite the fact that he has already endorsed Hillary Clinton as the democratic nominee for the general election, showing that some people are clearly not ready to give up hope.
Thousands take part in a rally in Trafalgar Square in support of Palestinians and an immediate ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas War, with many holding "Free Palestine" placards whilst chanting "From the river to the sea Palestine shall be free". London has seen large demonstrations on three successive weekends since Hamas gunmen on October 7 killed 1,400 people, mostly civilians, according to Israeli officials. Since then, Israel has relentlessly bombarded the Palestinian territory and sent in ground troops, with the health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza saying more than 9,200 people have been killed, two-thirds of them women and children. Clay Clark is a podcast host and ardent supporter of President Donald Trump. Speaking at a rally held Tuesday in Washington, DC, Clark apparently thought having a 'mass-spreader event' was a good thing. According to HuffPost, Clark told attendees at the event in Freedom Plaza that COVID-19 was a hoax. He then invited them hug each other. Turn to the person next to you and give them a hug, someone you don’t know. Go hug somebody. Go ahead and spread it out, mass spreader. It’s a mass-spreader event!
