Barack Obama's Book Not Expected This Year

Description

SF Gate reports former President Barack Obama's memoir isn't expected to be released this year. Publisher Penguin Random House alerted partners about the status of Obama's book on Tuesday. The former president has been writing the book himself, and the first draft is said to be written on legal pads. He used the same technique for many White House speeches and for his first best-seller, "Dreams from My Father." The former president and his wife, Michelle Obama, both signed book deals in 2017. The former First Lady's book was released last year and sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
