Royal Family Out In Full Force For Queen's Birthday Celebration

Description

Many members of Britain's royal family came out on Saturday to participate in the Trooping the Colour parade, in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's 93rd birthday. Channel24 reports that more than 1,400 soldiers, 300 horses and 400 musicians from The Household Division and The Household Calvary were part of the parade. Queen Elizabeth was the first to arrive at Horse Guards Parade, solo for her birthday parade. This is the second year that the Duke of Edinburgh didn't attend, since giving up his royal duties. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle waved to a crowd, sitting in a carriage with The Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge. This is the Duchess of Sussex's first public appearance since giving birth to baby Archie a month ago. The young royals were also front and center. One-year-old Prince Louis made his first royal event appearance, with his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, The Duke of Kent, The Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children, were also there.
