China Warns Foreign Companies Not To Follow Trump's Bans

Description

Gizmodo reports Chinese government officials have warned major tech companies not to follow the U.S.' prohibition on sales to Chinese companies. The White House recently prohibited U.S. firms from doing business with Chinese tech giant Huawei. The Trump Administration said the company poses a national security risk and accused it of trade theft. Companies including Google, Intel, and Qualcomm have stopped supplying Huawei. Huawei says the U.S. is trying to sabotage China’s efforts to release new 5G technology.
