Trump threatens to retaliate against French tariffs on American wine

France 24 business editor Bryan Quinn comments on "the renewed threats from the US President Donald Trump to escalate America's trade conflics on a number of fronts," including revisions to existing trade policies with Mexico and China. Most notably, Trump has threatened to "retaliate for what he calls unfair taxes on American wine entering the EU, singling out French wine," despite the fact that as a member of the EU, France is not responsible for setting its own tariff policies.
