  • Kids Trapped On Out Of Control Theme Park Ride After Brakes Failed

    YouTube/autumnrietzel Every person's worst nightmare happened on Wednesday as the breaks broke on a theme park ride. The Pirate ship was carrying kids as well as adults. The swinging ride was out of control for over 10 minutes before engineers brought it to a standstill. One kid said: "It just kept on going, and I just got really scared, and I was feeling really sick, and I was crying. I was just terrified". Visitors were stuck on the Pirate Ship ride at Kennywood theme park, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for around 15 minutes when staff realised they didn't know how to make it stop.
