A place at the table: Involving women in US-Afghan peace talks

Description

In this edition, we take a look at the need for Afghan women to be participating in US-Afghan peace talks that include the Taliban. We talk to women's activist, Palwasha Hasan, on how female participation is key in creating a sustainable peace in Afghanistan which is consistently ranked the worst country for women. Also with women taking a prominent part in Algeria's protest movement, we meet former athlete Safia Seghar, one of the few females in the country to have a top job in business.
