A year has passed since the presentation of the prototype E-Ducato, the full electric BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) developed by Fiat Professional as part of its journey toward zero-emissions vehicles. Over the year, despite all the difficulties related to the public health emergency of the last few months, the development of the new Fiat Professional model has continued with the assistance of simulation tools. The Fiat Professional sales force have attended in-depth Virtual Classroom sessions to familiarize themselves with the new van, which is now ready for launch onto the market in pilot projects with selected clients.
From 26 to 28 September, the Lombardy Region headquarters building in Milan hosted the third edition of "e_mob, the e-Mobility Festival", with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles playing a leading role. As well as a round table discussion and a seminar, where FCA was present to provide information about the activities it has launched with regard to sustainable mobility, in the covered outdoor area visitors were able to admire the Fiat Centoventi, the Jeep Compass PHEV and the Fiat Professional Ducato Electric, the last two of which will already be available on the market with effect from 2020.

Volkswagen is driving forward its major product offensive in the mid-sized class with pre-sales of the new ID.7 Tourer. With this model range, Volkswagen offers all relevant drive types in the mid-sized class and thus a particularly large choice for customers.
