Macron Says EU-Mercosur Deal Meets Key French Demands

According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron said that a draft trade deal between the European Union and the Mercosur group of South American countries was 'good' and had met key French demands. On Friday, the EU and Mercosur reportedly agreed to a free trade treaty, concluding two decades of talks.
