Ford unveiled the new Ford Puma - an SUV-inspired compact crossover that fuses stunning exterior design, best-in-class uncompromised load space, and sophisticated mild-hybrid powertrain technology.The new Ford Puma introduces a new chapter in Ford's design identity with charismatic styling cues including distinctive wing-top mounted headlamps and athletic, aerodynamic lines. Compact crossover proportions deliver a raised ride-height for a confidence-enhancing driving experience, and support class-leading uncompromised luggage capacity of 456 litres.Powerful, responsive performance and optimised fuel efficiency is delivered for Puma customers using Ford's EcoBoost Hybrid 48-volt technology. The mild-hybrid powertrain seamlessly integrates electric torque assistance with a low-friction, three-cylinder 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine to deliver up to 155 PS.

  • Ford Follows GM In Moving To Quarterly U.S. Sales Reporting

    According to Automotive News, this year Ford Motor Co. will follow its crosstown rival, General Motors, and move to quarterly reporting of U.S. sales figures. Ford, which is one of two automakers to hold monthly sales calls for analysts and media, will transition to a quarterly call and release beginning in April. It will still provide monthly figures to data agencies.

  • Ford Sales Are Down But Lincoln Made Gains

    According to Automotive News, light vehicle sales for Ford Motor Co. dropped about 7-percent during November. But Ford reported a modest gain for it's Lincoln luxury brand, which increased by 3.3-percent. Lincoln's increased sales were driven by the Navigator SUV and the Nautilus crossover. Overall, Ford's car sales dropped about 20-percent, with a 5-percent decrease in utility sales, and a 1-percent drop in pickup truck sales. Ford's lower sales were also exacerbated by a decline in fleet sales to daily rental companies.

  • Could an Abraham 'Fear The Walking Dead' Crossover Happen?

    The prequel series to The Walking Dead is rumored to be plotting a crossover plot line .. and the clear frontrunner is Abraham Ford. He was killed by Negan (Nee-gan) and thus could easily become a character in "Fear." Fans were first introduced to Abraham back in Season 4 as he made his way from Houston, Texas. That is the closest geographical location that any story line has been in relation to where "Fear" takes place. Executive Producer Greg Nicotero told Comic Book dot com that he loves the idea of an Abraham / Fear the Walking Dead crossover but that he's been so wrapped up in preparing for Season 8 of The Walking Dead that he hasn't had a chance to read any of the outlines for the prequel show.
