Indonesia Looks For Answers As Comparisons Mount With Ethiopia Crash

Description

According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, Indonesian investigators described the panic of pilots grappling with airspeed and altitude problems in the last moments of their doomed Lion Air flight, as comparisons continue to mount with the recent deadly crash in Ethiopia. The March 11th Ethiopian Airlines crash has sparked one of the widest inquiries in aviation history and cast a shadow over the future of Boeing's 737 MAX jetliner. Reuters reports that initial investigations show some alarming similarities between the Ethiopian crash and the Indonesian accident in October that claimed the lives of all 189 passengers and crew. In both flights, crews reportedly radioed about control problems shortly after take-off and urgently requested to turn back.
