Shaquille O'Neal Joins Papa John's Board And Signs Endorsement Deal

Description

According to Reuters, pizza chain Papa John's has been trying to recover from some recent PR blunders. It all started when its founder, John Schnatter, reportedly used a racial slur on a media training conference call last year. The company has now named named former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal as its newest board member, brand ambassador and investor. O'Neal will reportedly be paid $8.25 million for his endorsement. He issued a statement saying, “This is a triple threat opportunity for me."
