Your Smartphone Is Making You Tired And Unproductive

Description

“For example, self-reports relating to loss of sleep and productivity showed that these negative outcomes had significantly increased during the last 13 years,” Oviedo-Trespalacios, from QUT’s Center for Accident Research and Road Safety–Queensland, said in a statement. Using questions replicated from a similar survey conducted in 2005, researchers discovered significant increases in people blaming their phones for losing sleep (31.3 percent in 2018 vs 5.5 percent in 2005), becoming less productive (26.6 percent vs 2.3 percent), taking more risks while driving, and getting more aches and pains (16.3 percent vs 4.6 percent).
