  • Trump Wanted To File One Massive Election Lawsuit

President Donald Trump gave an interview to Fox Business on Sunday. In the interview he continued to make the claims of voter fraud in the 2020 Election. This is the latest instance of his refusal to accept his loss in the 2020 presidential election. Trump said he had asked his lawyers to file "one nice, big, beautiful lawsuit" encompassing his claims of voter fraud. He said his legal team told him he didn't have the standing to do so. Instead, the Trump campaign has filed a number of legal challenges in states across the country. According to Business Insider the lawsuits didn't net the president any sort of victory capable of overturning the election results.

  • US-Cuba relation policy remains unclear as Biden takes office

Havana, Jan 23 (EFE).- The arrival in the White House of Joe Biden could open a new chapter in relations between the United States and Cuba after four years of intensifying acrimony under Donald Trump, who ratcheted up punitive measures toward the Communist-ruled island.Biden was vice president when Barack Obama and Cuban leader Raul Castro announced in December 2014 the resumption of bilateral diplomatic ties after more than decades of mutual hostility.Obama went on to make a historic visit to Cuba and used the tools of executive power to promote closer links.Though Biden said during the 2020 election campaign that he would reverse Trump's move to sharply limit the ability of Cuban-Americans to send remittances to their families on the island, it remains unclear whether he intends to revive Obama's policy toward Cuba. • Biden On Transition: 'It Would Make It A Lot Easier If The President Were To Participate'

President-elect Joe Biden wants Congress to pass a coronavirus relief package with funding for payrolls for public workers like teachers and first responders. There's a reason why the federal government is able to run a deficit: because the states must, must, balance their budget. And they're in real trouble. President-elect Joe Biden In a speech on Monday, Biden characterized the economy as 'teetering on the edge,' months before coronavirus vaccines could become widely available. President Donald Trump continues to refuse that he lost the presidential election. As such, the Trump-appointed administrator of the GSA has so far refused to take the legally necessary step to begin the transition process. Biden said coordination is important 'now, or as rapidly as we can get that done,' and said that 'it would make it a lot easier if the President were to participate.'

  • John McCain's Widow Hopes Trump Will Make Like A Tree And Leave--Gracefully

The widow of the late Republican Sen. John McCain believes her husband 'would be very pleased' that Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump on Election Day. Although a lifelong Republican like her husband, Cindy McCain endorsed President-elect Biden. Business Insider reports McCain says she hopes Trump concedes gracefully, as did her late husband conceded to then-president-elect Barack Obama in 2008. The late senator was widely praised for his moving concession speech delivered on Nov. 5, 2008, just a day after Obama's projected election win. I really truly hope ... that this president stays on the right side of history. But also with all that said, does what's right for the country. Cindy McCain Widow of the late Arizona Sen. John McCain Trump has refused to concede and has floated baseless theories to justify nullifying the results. He also claimed he had already won the election, despite trailing Biden and not accounting for the unprocessed ballots throughout the country.

  • Biden: 'Engage With The World Once Again'

(CNN)US President Joe Biden will rightly spend his first days in office addressing the myriad domestic crises that he has inherited from his predecessor, Donald Trump. However, the transfer of power in the most powerful elected office in the world usually means a change in foreign policy, too. And if President Biden's inaugural address is anything to go by, the global focus for the next four years will chiefly be to restore the world's trust in America after the chaotic foreign policy of the one-term Trump administration.

Vice President Mike Pence is unable to make it due to logistical issues, says Business Insider. Many people see this as the final snub to Trump from his once-closest allies. Others may also fail to attend but none so far have been confirmed outside of these three. Joe Biden is set to take office tomorrow and become the 46th President of the United States.
