2019 GLAAD Media Awards Will Honor Andy Cohen

EXTRA TV reports that TV personality Andy Cohen will receive a big honor at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards in NYC. Cohen’s BFF Sarah Jessica Parker will present him with the Vito Russo Award. The award honors an openly LGBTQ media professional who has made an impact in accelerating LGBTQ acceptance. The New York ceremony will be held on May 4. It is broadcasting on Logo on Sunday, May 12 at 8pm ET/PT. GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said Cohen's work "resulted in some of the buzziest and entertaining culture changing moments."
