Description

European regulators fined Google $1.7 billion on Wednesday for abusing its dominance in the online advertising business. According to Gizmodo, the company is accused of imposing restrictive and anti-competitive contracts on its European customers. EU antitrust commissioner Margrethe Vestager fined Google $5.1 billion last year for using its Android mobile operating system for anticompetitive abuses.
