Beto failed at that too. Now, what is the former congressman going to do? Teach at Texas State and write a book about Democracy. Dallas Morning News reports Beto will be paid $7,500 to teach a course next semester at Texas State University. He is also "writing a book on democracy in the U.S. through the lens of Texas."
