Porsche Cayenne Coupé Design in carrara white

Description

With the introduction of the new Cayenne Coupe, Porsche is extending the family of the third generation of its successful five-door, four wheel-drive sports car with a more sporting derivative. "The Coupé includes all the technical highlights of the current Cayenne, and its more dynamic design and new technical details position it as more progressive, athletic, and emotional," says Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG.Key highlights of the new Cayenne model include sharper styling with a unique rear body section, an adaptive rear spoiler, a rear bench with the characteristics of two individual seats, and two different roof styles - a panoramic fixed glass roof fitted as standard, and an optional carbon-fibre roof.Dynamic proportions combine with custom design elements to lend the new Cayenne Coupé a distinctly purposeful elegance. "The distinctive roof flyline that falls away to the rear makes the Porsche Cayenne Coupé appear more dynamic, and positions it as the most sporting-looking model in the market segment," says Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche. That effect is supported by a roof spoiler, which accentuates the distinctive Coupé silhouette. The front windscreen and A-pillar are shallower than in the Cayenne, courtesy of a roof that has been lowered by around 20 mm. Redesigned rear doors and wheel arches broaden the shoulders of the car by 18 mm, contributing to an overall muscular stance. The rear number plate is integrated into the bumper, making the vehicle seem closer to the ground.

  • The new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid in Carrara White Exterior Design

Porsche is continuing to implement its performance-focused hybrid strategy in the new Cayenne: with electrical engine performance enhanced by over 43 per cent and around 30 per cent more battery capacity in comparison to its predecessor, the new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid offers the best driving dynamics in its class and maximum efficiency. A powerful three-litre V6 engine (250 kW/340 hp) combines with a virtually silent electric engine (100 kW/136 hp) to generate system power of 340 kW (462 hp). The maximum torque of 700 Nm is already available just above the idling speed. The boost strategy matches that of the 918 Spyder supercar, just like in the new hybrid Panamera models. The Cayenne's plug-in hybrid drive enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and a maximum speed of 253 km/h. The new Cayenne E-Hybrid can drive up to a distance of 44 kilometres and speed of 135 km/h on electricity alone, producing no local emissions. The average consumption of the all-wheeler in the New European Drive Cycle (NEDC), depending on the set of tyres used, is 3.4 - 3.2 l/100 km fuel and 20.9 - 20.6 kWh/100 km of electricity.
